The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it truly is alarmed about the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance point made for intervention experiences a large inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to help the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
